After reading voluminous amounts of voice acting literature and devouring content on hundreds of VO websites -- okay, several dozen at least -- we’ve noticed that an amazing number of the sources say basically the same things over and over.

There’s an inherent value in commonly agreed-to knowledge, of course. But frankly, there are lots of places you could get that kinda stuff. So in the interest of a fresh approach, we humbly offer a different take: ten things that no voice actor in the world has ever said.

1. I think I need a cheaper microphone.

2. Oh no -- it’s my agent again. I’ll let it go to voicemail and call her back later.

3. My booth is just too quiet!

4. Great webinar. It started right on time. Not a single technical glitch. And man -- it was so cheap!

5. Because big Hollywood names are just better actors, that’s why.

6. I heard the finished spot. He was way better than I would have been.

7. I worry I’m not spending enough time on Facebook.

8. Sure, I can put a few more mouth sounds in it.

9. I think I’m gonna quit my day job and work the P2P sites full-time.
